At Phia Containers, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our shipping containers, fabrication services, and related products. Due to the high-value, oversized, and often customized nature of our items, our return policy is designed to balance customer protection with practical logistics. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following limited conditions:
• Defective or Damaged Items: If your container or product arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the specifications ordered (e.g., wrong size, grade, or configuration), you may return it for a full refund or replacement.
• Incorrect Item Received: If we shipped the wrong item, we will cover all return costs and arrange a replacement or refund.
• Timeframe: All return requests must be reported within 14 to 30 days of delivery. We encourage immediate inspection upon receipt and notation of any issues on the delivery receipt.
Returns are not accepted for:
• Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
• Containers that have been modified, used, loaded, relocated, or altered after delivery.
• Custom-fabricated items (e.g., container houses, modifications, electrical/plumbing fittings) – these are made-to-order and non-returnable.
• Normal wear, minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., surface rust on used containers), or issues arising from improper handling/storage post-delivery.
How to Initiate a Return
1. Contact us within 14 to 30 days of delivery via email at info@phiagrp.com or phone (+1 970 335 9569).
2. Provide your order number, proof of purchase, detailed description of the issue, and photos/videos (including the container’s identification number/BIC code if applicable).
3. We will review your request and, if approved, provide instructions for return (including any required Return Authorization).
Do not ship any item back without prior approval.

Return Shipping and Costs

• For Approved Defective/Damaged/Incorrect Items: We will arrange and cover return shipping/freight costs.
• Customer Responsibility: In all other cases (if any apply), you are responsible for arranging and paying return freight/shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable, insured carrier suitable for oversized items.

Shipping containers are oversized freight items – standard parcel services cannot be used. Returns must be coordinated with appropriate heavy-haul transport.

Refunds

• Once the returned item is received, inspected, and approved, we will process your refund within 10 business days.
• Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
• Original shipping/delivery fees are non-refundable.
• Any restocking or handling fees (if applicable for non-defective returns) will be deducted.
If damage occurred during return shipping arranged by you, we may deduct repair costs or deny the refund.
Exchanges and Replacements
We do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, return the item for a refund and place a new order. For defective items, we may offer a replacement at our discretion.
Warranty and Quality Assurance
All containers come with a condition warranty based on grade (new/one-trip vs. used). Structural issues reported within the inspection period qualify under this policy. Extended warranties may be available – contact us for details.
